A Child Called It

This book by Dave Pelzer is about some kid that gets abused daily. He has to walk around with bruises all over his body. Cuts on his shirts, old scars all over. Its just depressing. I cant believe that his mom put him through all of that pain that he has to deal with. They said that he is just a kid that makes mistakes, but if you know that why make him pay for his mistakes?
I think that if you get put through that much pain you need to tell someone. No one deserves to get put through that. You cant even wish something that bad on your worst enemy. I cant even imagine how embarrassing it is for him to walk into class with all these bad things going on. He's so scared, he sits in corners. Depressing right?
I feel that he is the strongest kid I know. He fights for his life, he doesn't break down, nor complain. He takes his life just for his life. He acts like its perfect, but from the reading its no where near that. I feel so bad for him, I'm just so glad that he got out of that torture that he was put through because I cried when I read certain parts.. It's just so sad.

  1. I like how you start with a little summary of what's happening in your book, and then start with your thoughts about it. You clearly have a very strong and convincing opinion, and I think your readers will get a lot from agreeing or disagreeing with you view point.
